Vidalia Onion Relish

Vidalia Onion Relish

4 large onions, chopped
2 cups water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar

Marinade overnight, then drain off liquid. Mix together

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon celery seed

Stir into onions. Serve on saltine crackers or sandwiches.
